Speaking on CNBC\u2019s Mad Money<\/em>, Mehrotra said data-center customers are requesting approximately 50% more memory supply than Micron can currently commit to<\/strong>, highlighting the enormous computing requirements behind AI infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Demand is also expanding beyond data centers. Autonomous vehicles, robotics and AI-powered consumer products are creating additional opportunities for advanced, high-capacity memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Micron is positioning itself for this growth with substantial investments in U.S. semiconductor infrastructure. The company recently introduced a research center in Boise, Idaho, supported by a planned $10 billion investment<\/strong> over the next decade.
