Rubrik (RBRK) delivered a stronger-than-expected fiscal second-quarter 2027 report, beating Wall Street estimates across several key metrics and raising its full-year outlook as demand for its cybersecurity and data protection platform continues to expand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second-quarter revenue climbed 38% year over year to $427.3 million<\/strong>, well above analysts\u2019 estimate of $396 million. Adjusted earnings reached $0.20 per share<\/strong>, significantly exceeding expectations of just $0.04.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Subscription annual recurring revenue increased 33% to $1.66 billion<\/strong>, while Cloud ARR jumped 39% to $1.48 billion. Rubrik also reported free cash flow of $65.7 million<\/strong>, ahead of the $39.7 million expected by analysts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company ended the quarter with 3,084 customers generating more than $100,000 in subscription ARR, representing 23% year-over-year growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following the strong quarter, Rubrik raised its fiscal 2027 revenue forecast to between $1.685 billion and $1.693 billion<\/strong>, above the $1.64 billion consensus estimate. Adjusted EPS is now expected between $0.47 and $0.53, while free cash flow is projected at $323 million to $333 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the third quarter, Rubrik expects revenue between $429 million and $431 million<\/strong>, also exceeding Wall Street\u2019s $418 million forecast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Management highlighted artificial intelligence as an increasingly important long-term growth opportunity, saying the company remains in the \u201cearly innings\u201d of AI acceleration.
