According to a regulatory filing, Cohen purchased approximately 1.1 million GameStop shares for about $26 million. The insider purchase attracted investor attention as Cohen increased his personal exposure to the company amid its ongoing financial transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The latest rally follows GameStop\u2019s elimination of roughly $1.4 billion in debt. The company paid bondholders with stock rather than cash, strengthening its balance sheet while preserving liquidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
