The company reported Q4 revenue of $84.6 million, surpassing estimates of $78.2 million, while Q4 earnings per share (EPS) stood at 45 cents, exceeding estimates of 20 cents. These figures marked a significant uptick, with total revenues soaring by 14% year-over-year. Net cash provided by operating activities also saw a substantial increase, totaling $28.7 million, up by 48% compared to the previous year. Notably, active publishers on the PubMatic platform experienced a notable 9% growth compared to the same period in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajeev Goel, PubMatic’s co-founder, and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s performance, stating, “We ended 2023 on an incredibly high note, marking an inflection point in revenue growth as we accelerated to 14% year-over-year growth and strong profitability in the fourth quarter.” He attributed these results to the strength of PubMatic’s platform, emphasizing the value it delivers to publishers and buyers, along with strategic investments made over the past 18 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, PubMatic’s board authorized a new stock repurchase plan of up to $100 million, augmenting its existing buyback program of $75 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looking ahead, PubMatic anticipates first-quarter revenue to range between $61 million and $63 million, surpassing estimates of $58.189 million. The company foresees an improvement in adjusted EBITDA throughout the year, with full-year 2024 revenue growth projected to exceed 10%.
