Developed in partnership with AltaSea and Shell Marine Renewable Energy (MRE), the installation represents the first onshore wave energy system in the United States and positions Eco Wave Power at the forefront of this emerging sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The demonstration project features floaters that capture the natural movement of ocean waves to generate renewable electricity. While still in its pilot phase, the initiative demonstrates the scalability of wave energy and lays the foundation for future commercial expansion along U.S. coastlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The launch aligns with California\u2019s ambitious climate agenda and Senate Bill 605, which calls for the development of a comprehensive wave energy roadmap. At the federal level, momentum is also building. Congresswoman Nanette D\u00edaz Barrag\u00e1n recently introduced the Marine Energy Technologies Acceleration Act, a $1 billion initiative to accelerate marine energy nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEco Wave Power made history by deploying its innovative technology into U.S. waters for the very first time,\u201d said Congresswoman Barrag\u00e1n. \u201cThis milestone shows incredible potential for wave energy to power communities with clean electricity while creating jobs and protecting our environment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power, emphasized that the project demonstrates the vital role of policy support in turning innovation into reality. She added that future projects are already in the pipeline in Taiwan, India, and Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWave energy has enormous potential \u2014 it is predictable, reliable, and available right on our coastlines,\u201d Braverman said. \u201cToday, we are not just cutting a ribbon.
