The initiative cements Nvidia\u2019s growing leadership in national-scale AI infrastructure and scientific computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rollout\u2019s first phase, in partnership with <strong>Oracle<\/strong>, will establish two new supercomputers at Argonne\u2014<strong>Equinox<\/strong> and <strong>Solstice<\/strong>. Equinox will feature <strong>10,000 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs<\/strong>, while Solstice will harness <strong>200 megawatts of AI processing power<\/strong>, enabling massive-scale modeling and simulation. Both systems are designed to support <strong>trillion-parameter AI models<\/strong>, driving breakthroughs in physics, biology, and advanced computational science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional Argonne systems, named <strong>Tara, Minerva, and Janus<\/strong>, will expand the lab\u2019s AI and simulation capabilities. Meanwhile, <strong>Los Alamos National Laboratory<\/strong> will receive two Nvidia-powered systems\u2014<strong>Mission<\/strong> and <strong>Vision<\/strong>\u2014built by <strong>Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)<\/strong>. Mission will handle <strong>classified workloads<\/strong> for the National Nuclear Security Agency, while Vision will focus on <strong>unclassified AI applications<\/strong>, advancing research in energy, security, and national defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond AI infrastructure, Nvidia is deepening its footprint in <strong>quantum computing<\/strong>, partnering with <strong>nine U.S. national labs<\/strong> through its <strong>NVQLink<\/strong> technology. This innovation bridges classical GPU supercomputers with quantum systems to improve <strong>quantum error correction<\/strong>, a critical step toward reliable quantum computation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nvidia also revealed plans for an <strong>AI-native 6G wireless stack<\/strong>, developed in collaboration with <strong>T-Mobile<\/strong> and <strong>Cisco<\/strong>, as part of its push for <strong>sovereign AI<\/strong>\u2014technology built domestically to serve strategic national interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With global demand for sovereign AI rising, Nvidia\u2019s partnerships with governments and enterprises worldwide are rapidly expanding.
