For the quarter ended <strong>September 30, 2025<\/strong>, the company posted <strong>revenue of $77.7 billion<\/strong>, an <strong>18% increase<\/strong> from the same period last year, while <strong>operating income rose 24%<\/strong> to <strong>$38 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Net income reached <strong>$27.7 billion (GAAP)<\/strong>, up <strong>12%<\/strong>, and <strong>$30.8 billion (non-GAAP)<\/strong>, up <strong>22%<\/strong>, with diluted EPS of <strong>$3.72<\/strong> and <strong>$4.13<\/strong>, respectively. Excluding investments in OpenAI, Microsoft still saw impressive growth across its core segments, particularly within the <strong>Microsoft Cloud<\/strong>, which generated <strong>$49.1 billion in revenue<\/strong>, a <strong>26% year-over-year increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chairman and CEO <strong>Satya Nadella<\/strong> attributed the performance to Microsoft\u2019s \u201cplanet-scale cloud and AI factory,\u201d emphasizing the company\u2019s continued investments in AI infrastructure and workforce to seize \u201cthe massive opportunity ahead.\u201d CFO <strong>Amy Hood<\/strong> added that strength across revenue, operating income, and EPS reflected \u201cgrowing customer demand for our differentiated platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In segment performance, <strong>Azure and other cloud services<\/strong> surged <strong>40%<\/strong>, while <strong>Microsoft 365 Commercial<\/strong> and <strong>Consumer Cloud<\/strong> grew <strong>17%<\/strong> and <strong>26%<\/strong>, respectively. <strong>LinkedIn<\/strong> revenue increased <strong>10%<\/strong>, and <strong>Dynamics 365<\/strong> rose <strong>18%<\/strong>.
