Shares jumped more than <strong>5% in after-hours trading<\/strong> following the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the three months ending September 30, Alphabet reported <strong>revenue of $102.4 billion<\/strong>, up from <strong>$88.3 billion<\/strong> a year earlier and above analyst forecasts of $99.85 billion, according to Bloomberg. The company posted <strong>adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.87<\/strong>, far exceeding the $2.26 expected by analysts and last year\u2019s $2.12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest growth driver was <strong>Google Cloud<\/strong>, which surged <strong>34% year-over-year to $15.2 billion<\/strong>, beating estimates of $14.8 billion. CEO <strong>Sundar Pichai<\/strong> highlighted the milestone, saying, \u201cAlphabet had a terrific quarter, with double-digit growth across every major part of our business. We delivered our first-ever $100 billion quarter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alphabet also raised its <strong>capital expenditures outlook<\/strong> for 2025 to <strong>$92 billion<\/strong>, up from its previous $85 billion midpoint, reflecting heightened investment in AI infrastructure and data centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent high-profile AI partnerships have further cemented Google\u2019s dominance in the AI ecosystem. <strong>OpenAI<\/strong> added Google Cloud to its list of infrastructure providers, while <strong>Meta<\/strong> signed a <strong>$10 billion deal<\/strong> to expand its use of Google Cloud\u2019s computing capacity.
