Truth.Fi Brand Expands into Financial Services with Up to $250 Million in Investments
Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), the company behind Truth Social, has applied to trademark six investment products focused on Bitcoin, U.S. manufacturing, and energy. The proposed offerings include Truth.Fi Bitcoin Plus ETF, Truth.Fi Made in America ETF, and Truth.Fi U.S. Energy Independence ETF.
While TMTG has yet to file for these products with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company is actively working to expand its financial services arm. In addition to the ETFs, TMTG plans to launch three separately managed accounts (SMAs) focused on these sectors, in partnership with financial services giant Charles Schwab. SMAs are professionally managed investment portfolios tailored for individual investors and institutions.
The move aligns with TMTG’s broader strategy to expand into fintech and asset management. Last week, the company’s board approved the launch of Truth.Fi, a new financial services and fintech brand. As part of this initiative, TMTG is planning investments of up to $250 million, which will be custodied by Charles Schwab.
TMTG’s majority owner, former U.S. President Donald Trump, has been a vocal proponent of American manufacturing and energy independence, themes reflected in the proposed ETFs. If approved, these investment products could attract politically aligned investors looking to capitalize on trends in Bitcoin and domestic industries.
With the financial services expansion underway, TMTG’s next steps will depend on SEC approvals and market interest in its Truth.Fi investment products.
