High-Power AI Markets Drive Sequential Growth as Management Guides for Another Acceleration in the Third Quarter
Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS) delivered an encouraging second-quarter 2026 earnings report, exceeding Wall Street’s revenue expectations while projecting stronger growth for the third quarter as demand for its next-generation power semiconductor solutions continues to build.
The company reported second-quarter revenue of $10.53 million, topping analysts’ consensus estimate of $9.97 million. Adjusted earnings came in at a loss of $0.04 per share, matching Wall Street expectations. More importantly for investors, Navitas highlighted that total revenue increased 22% sequentially, signaling continued momentum across its business.
A key driver of the quarter was the company’s expanding presence in high-power applications. Navitas reported that revenue from its high-power markets—including AI data centers, electric vehicles, industrial systems, and renewable energy—grew more than 50% year over year. That mix shift also contributed to an improvement in gross margin, reflecting the company’s strategy of focusing on higher-value applications for its gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC) technologies.
Looking ahead, management issued an optimistic outlook for the third quarter, forecasting revenue between $13 million and $14 million. The guidance came in well above analysts’ consensus estimate of approximately $11.06 million, suggesting accelerating customer demand and increasing commercial adoption of the company’s power solutions.
The upbeat forecast reinforces Navitas’ long-term thesis as AI infrastructure spending continues to expand globally. The company’s products are designed to improve power efficiency in next-generation AI servers and high-performance computing systems, markets expected to experience significant investment over the coming years.
While Navitas remains in the early stages of scaling its business and has yet to reach sustained profitability, investors appear increasingly focused on its accelerating revenue trajectory and growing exposure to AI infrastructure. If the company continues converting design wins into production revenue while expanding margins, Navitas could further strengthen its position as a differentiated player in the rapidly growing power semiconductor industry.
