Software giant beats third-quarter earnings expectations, raises full-year revenue guidance, and strengthens its position in the expanding enterprise artificial intelligence market.
Palantir Technologies (PLTR) reported stronger-than-expected third-quarter financial results Monday, driven by accelerating demand for its artificial intelligence software and a historic milestone in its U.S. commercial business.
The company generated quarterly revenue of $2.313 billion, representing a 96% increase year over year and surpassing Wall Street expectations of $2.17 billion, according to Bloomberg consensus estimates.
Adjusted earnings per share reached $0.44, exceeding analyst projections of $0.40.
For the first time, Palantir’s U.S. commercial revenue surpassed its U.S. government sales, highlighting growing enterprise adoption of its AI-powered platforms.
Following the results, Palantir raised its full-year revenue guidance to between $8.530 billion and $8.534 billion, comfortably exceeding analyst expectations of $8.2 billion. The company also increased its U.S. commercial revenue target to more than $3.559 billion.
Palantir’s expanding commercial footprint builds upon its established government business, including its Maven Smart System, which became an official Pentagon program earlier this year, reinforcing the company’s long-term involvement in military AI initiatives.
Despite strong operational performance, Palantir shares have faced pressure amid broader technology-sector volatility and concerns surrounding AI disruption across software companies.
Nevertheless, Wall Street sentiment remains largely positive, with 30 analysts maintaining Buy ratings, nine recommending Hold, and two issuing Sell ratings.
The consensus price target stands at $216 per share, reflecting continued optimism surrounding Palantir’s growth prospects.
With commercial AI adoption accelerating, Palantir’s latest results underscore its expanding market presence and growing enterprise demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure.
