CEO Jensen Huang Introduces Cutting-Edge Hardware and AI Technologies

Nvidia (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang took center stage at CES 2025 to showcase the company’s groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and gaming. The keynote offered a glimpse into Nvidia’s ambitious plans for both consumer and enterprise applications, emphasizing its commitment to shaping the future of AI and gaming technology.

The GB10: A New AI Superchip

One of the keynote’s highlights was the introduction of the GB10, a compact AI chip derived from Nvidia’s high-powered GB200 platform. While the GB200 has become a staple for tech giants like Amazon, Google, and Tesla, the GB10 offers a scaled-down solution by pairing a single Blackwell GPU with Nvidia’s Grace CPU.

Huang revealed that the GB10 will debut in May 2025 as part of a desktop system called Project DIGITS. This desktop combines the GB10 with 128GB of unified memory and 4TB of storage, delivering a powerful AI computing solution that fits on a desk. Unlike its predecessor, the GB10 targets desktop environments rather than data centers, broadening its appeal for developers and small-scale enterprises.

Cosmos and Autonomous Innovations

Nvidia also introduced its Cosmos platform, designed to aid the development of AI-powered robots and self-driving vehicles. Using world foundation models (WFMs), Cosmos simulates real-world conditions, enabling companies to refine software without the need for expensive physical prototypes.

Another notable unveiling was Nvidia’s Isaac GROOT Blueprint software, which leverages Apple’s Vision Pro headset to train humanoid robots in virtual environments. For the automotive sector, Nvidia’s technologies are already powering advanced and autonomous driving systems for major players such as Toyota, Continental, and Aurora.

“The autonomous vehicle revolution has arrived,” Huang declared. “This will likely be the first multi-trillion-dollar robotics industry.”

Gaming’s Next Frontier

Staying true to its roots, Nvidia also showcased the new GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, headlined by the high-performance RTX 5090. Priced at $1,999, the RTX 5090 boasts double the performance of its predecessor, the RTX 4090. The entry-level RTX 5070, meanwhile, matches the gaming capabilities of the RTX 4090, thanks to advancements in Nvidia’s AI-driven DLSS software.

These innovations reinforce Nvidia’s leadership in gaming hardware while underscoring its ability to integrate AI into gaming experiences, offering players unmatched realism and performance.

Looking Ahead

With a blend of AI breakthroughs and gaming advancements, Nvidia’s CES 2025 keynote highlights its dual commitment to innovation and market leadership. From AI-powered robotics to state-of-the-art gaming, the company is setting the stage for a transformative year ahead.
