Authorized dealership positions the jet operator at the forefront of in-flight internet and MRO services
flyExclusive (FLYX) is raising the bar for private aviation connectivity after announcing an authorized dealership and installation agreement with Starlink. The move allows flyExclusive to install Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency aviation internet across its fleet while also offering sales, installation, and support services to third-party aircraft owners.
The agreement marks a meaningful step in flyExclusive’s strategy to enhance customer experience through technology. Starlink’s low-Earth-orbit satellite constellation delivers broadband internet capable of streaming, video conferencing, online gaming, and secure VPN use at altitude—capabilities that historically required expensive, lower-performance legacy systems. With speeds of up to 310 Mbps and latency below 99 milliseconds, Starlink offers a step-change in performance for business aviation.
For flyExclusive customers, the benefit is immediate. Reliable, streaming-quality internet enables real-time communication and productivity in the air, reinforcing the company’s focus on delivering a seamless, world-class flight experience. Founder and CEO Jim Segrave emphasized that connectivity is now a core expectation, not a luxury, and that Starlink enables flyExclusive to control quality end-to-end through its vertically integrated platform.
The partnership also expands flyExclusive’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities. As a certified Part 145 Repair Station, the company can now provide turnkey Starlink provisioning, expert installation, testing, and ongoing support to external operators. This strengthens flyExclusive’s position as a trusted MRO partner while creating an additional revenue stream beyond flight operations.
Chief Operating Officer Matt Lesmeister noted that the dealership aligns with broader investments in fleet modernization, avionics upgrades, mobile service units, and technology-driven services. As connectivity becomes central to passenger expectations, flyExclusive’s Starlink partnership positions the company at the leading edge of private aviation—where premium service, advanced technology, and operational control increasingly define competitive advantage.
