Data center revenue surges 75% year over year, full-year sales top $215 billion

NVIDIA (NVDA) reported record-breaking fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results, underscoring the company’s dominant position at the center of the global AI infrastructure buildout.

For the fourth quarter ended January 25, 2026, NVIDIA posted revenue of $68.1 billion, up 20% from the prior quarter and 73% year over year. The company’s Data Center segment drove the bulk of the growth, generating a record $62.3 billion in revenue — up 22% sequentially and 75% from a year ago. For the full fiscal year, total revenue reached $215.9 billion, marking a 65% increase compared to fiscal 2025.

Profitability remained strong. Fourth-quarter GAAP gross margin came in at 75.0%, while non-GAAP gross margin reached 75.2%. GAAP diluted earnings per share were $1.76 for the quarter, nearly doubling from a year ago. For fiscal 2026, GAAP EPS totaled $4.90, up 67% year over year.

CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that “the agentic AI inflection point has arrived,” highlighting the company’s Grace Blackwell platform as a leader in inference efficiency. NVIDIA also unveiled its next-generation Vera Rubin architecture, designed to further reduce AI inference costs and extend its technological leadership.

Beyond financial performance, NVIDIA continued expanding partnerships with major cloud providers including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle. The company also announced strategic collaborations with Meta, Anthropic, Siemens, and Mercedes-Benz, reflecting AI’s expanding footprint across industries.

NVIDIA returned $41.1 billion to shareholders during fiscal 2026 through share repurchases and dividends, with $58.5 billion remaining under its authorization.

Looking ahead, NVIDIA expects first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of approximately $78 billion, plus or minus 2%, signaling continued momentum.

With surging AI adoption, record data center growth, and expanding enterprise partnerships, NVIDIA remains at the forefront of what it calls the AI industrial revolution.
