Deal strengthens IP ownership strategy and launches worldwide promotional campaign tied to the animated franchise
Global Interactive Technologies (GITS), a NASDAQ-listed digital media and intellectual property company, announced it has reached an agreement with global K-pop sensation ATEEZ for the production and performance of the official theme song for its upcoming animated feature, The Legend of MegaRace. The deal grants GITS full ownership and global distribution rights to the master recordings, reinforcing the company’s long-term IP control and commercialization strategy.
Under the agreement, GITS will retain complete authority over worldwide usage, distribution, and monetization of the theme song across digital and physical platforms. This includes soundtrack releases, licensing opportunities, and integration across multiple content channels. By controlling the master and distribution rights, GITS aims to ensure consistent brand management while maximizing long-term value from the collaboration.
The partnership will be supported by a global promotional campaign timed with the release of The Legend of MegaRace. GITS plans to leverage ATEEZ’s international fanbase through curated content, including music-related promotions and behind-the-scenes footage, distributed via Faning, the company’s global fandom platform. The campaign is designed to drive engagement across North America, Europe, and Asia, key markets for both animation and music-driven IP.
A GITS representative said the agreement underscores the company’s commitment to disciplined IP ownership and structured distribution, noting that collaboration with a globally influential artist aligns with its goal of expanding international reach while maintaining governance standards expected of a publicly traded company.
ATEEZ’s involvement is expected to significantly amplify awareness of The Legend of MegaRace, pairing a globally recognized music brand with GITS’s integrated production and distribution framework. The company believes this approach will enhance audience engagement while enabling scalable, diversified monetization over time.
The announcement fits within GITS’s broader strategy to build proprietary intellectual property at the intersection of animation and music, collaborating with top-tier global artists to support sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value.
