Collaboration aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and patient safety through smart contract integration
Datavault AI (DVLT), a leader in AI-powered data valuation and monetization, has announced a non-binding letter of intent with Wellgistics Health (WGRX) an innovative pharmaceutical distribution and digital prescription routing company. The partnership seeks to integrate Datavault’s blockchain-enabled PharmacyChain™ smart contract technology into Wellgistics’ proprietary infrastructure, marking a major step toward digital transformation in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
The collaboration will focus on digitizing prescription tracking from script to fulfillment, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the process. By leveraging blockchain’s immutable ledger and Datavault’s AI-driven data capabilities, the system aims to reduce fraud, streamline delivery, and enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
Both companies are also exploring a revenue-sharing model based on PharmacyChain™ usage fees, with final terms to be negotiated in a definitive agreement.
“Integrating AI and blockchain into prescription management has the potential to redefine how medications are tracked and verified,” the companies said in a joint statement.
The proposed partnership underscores growing industry interest in combining AI, data monetization, and blockchain technologies to modernize healthcare logistics — a move that could improve operational efficiency and build trust in the prescription fulfillment process.
