MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor announced the company’s acquisition of an additional 9,245 BTC, totaling approximately $623.0 million. This purchase was made using proceeds from convertible notes and excess cash, at an average price of around $67,382 per Bitcoin. With this acquisition, MicroStrategy now holds a total of 214,246 BTC, acquired for approximately $7.53 billion, at an average price of $35,160 per Bitcoin. Notably, this milestone means that MicroStrategy officially owns 1% of the total Bitcoin supply. The move reflects MicroStrategy’s continued confidence in Bitcoin as a store of value and its commitment to increasing its exposure to the leading cryptocurrency.
