General Motors Unveils Enhanced 2025 Cadillac Escalade with Increased V-Series Production

Luxury, Technology, and Performance Take Center Stage in New Updates

General Motors (GM) has announced a series of significant updates to its flagship Cadillac Escalade for the 2025 model year. With new looks and enhanced technologies, the Escalade is poised to solidify its status as a crucial vehicle for both Cadillac and its parent company, GM. Notably, the automaker plans to ramp up production of the V-Series performance model, which currently tops out at over $152,000, to better meet growing demand.

The Cadillac Escalade has long been a symbol of bold American craftsmanship, advanced technology, and exceptional performance. Since its introduction 25 years ago, it has continuously set the standard for full-size SUV luxury. John Roth, vice president of Cadillac, emphasized this legacy in a recent release, stating, “The Escalade has always been about bold American craftsmanship, technology and performance, and has continuously raised the standard of full-size SUV luxury since it was introduced 25 years ago.”

For the 2025 model year, the Escalade boasts a variety of design and feature enhancements. A standout addition is the standard 55-inch diagonal display that spans across the dashboard, including a passenger-only screen. This massive display ensures that both drivers and passengers can enjoy the cutting-edge technology that Cadillac is known for. Other notable features include an “executive package” for the second row, power doors, and large 24-inch wheels, all of which contribute to the vehicle’s luxurious appeal.

The updated design also includes sleeker front lighting and a larger interior screen, aligning the gas-powered model more closely with the upcoming all-electric version of the Escalade. Despite these modern tweaks, the 2025 Escalade retains its signature massive front grille and commanding on-road presence that fans of the model have come to expect.

Under the hood, the gas-powered 2025 Escalade continues to impress with two 6.2-liter V-8 engines. Among these is the supercharged V-Series performance model, which delivers an impressive 682 horsepower and 653 foot-pounds of torque. This powerhouse ensures that the Escalade remains a top choice for those seeking both luxury and high performance in a full-size SUV.

In response to high demand, Cadillac has decided to increase production of the 2025 Escalade V-Series. Introduced two years ago, the V-Series has garnered significant interest, leading to supply constraints for the current model year. While Cadillac officials have not disclosed specific production increase figures, they emphasized their commitment to balancing customer demand with the model’s exclusivity. “We are increasing production to help meet customer demand for the pinnacle of Escalade performance, luxury, and craftsmanship, while maintaining exclusivity,” said a Cadillac representative.

Pricing details for the 2025 models will be released closer to the vehicle’s launch. Currently, pricing ranges from approximately $81,000 for an entry-level model to over $152,000 for the V-Series. Additionally, the all-electric Escalade IQ is expected to start around $130,000 when it goes on sale later this year, offering an alternative for those interested in an electric option.

The enhancements to the gas-powered 2025 Escalade were unveiled online by GM on Wednesday, ahead of production and sales, which are slated to begin later this year. The Escalade will continue to be produced at GM’s Arlington Assembly in Texas, alongside full-size SUVs from Chevrolet and GMC that share the same vehicle platform and components.

As GM continues to innovate and adapt its vehicle lineup, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade stands out as a prime example of the company’s dedication to luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology. With its updated features and increased production of the coveted V-Series, the new Escalade is set to meet the demands of discerning customers while maintaining the exclusivity and prestige that the model is known for.
